We are the descendants of Antonio Pentone; Italian seafarer, hero, and the inspiration behind The Pentone Family. Antonio received a gallantry award for saving the lives of 28 men when their ship was wrecked by a storm in the Indian Ocean. By tying a lee rope to himself and swimming back he saved each one of his shipmates (even going back for the ship’s dog). He returned to British shores following this heroic act, and through these drinks we celebrate his gallantry, innovation and the spirit of Pentone. We pay homage to Antonio with our flagship gin aperitivo Ocean Storm. Naturally blue and beautiful, this botanical spirit is lower in calories, and refreshing like the sea.
